Typobay is now Typozay

OK so why did I rename the site? Well it's been doing fairly well in terms of traffic and I've been thinking about doing a lot more marketing in preparation for raising some cash for George's Charity Crutchathon.

I've also got a few new ideas featureswise so I felt it needed a name which would allow to stretch its wings a little.

So to cut a long story short. Typobay is dead. Love live Typozay.

Typobay to donate to Médecins Sans Frontières

My friend George recently had a climbing accident and has now promised to hobble up Snowdon on crutches in order to raise money for Médecins Sans Frontières UK - a medical charity. Read her story.

Personally I think she's crazy (but in a brave kind of way).

So to help her reach her fundraising target I'll donate any profit my Ebay tool - Typobay - makes during September to Médecins Sans Frontières UK. Since Typobay has no running costs - any and all money made will go to Médecins Sans Frontières.

How you can help (at no cost to yourself - and you may even save some money).

  1. Simply visit Typobay - do a search and bid for or buy something on Ebay during September.
  2. Tell all of your friends and family

Pandora is a cool tool that lets you build your own set of radio stations based on your existing music preferences. Simply enter your favourite band or song and Pandora will try and find music to match your tastes.

It works surprisingly well.

Reuse your bags at Tesco and get Clubcard points

Tesco will now give you the equivalent of 1p if you bring your own rucksack, carrier bag etc to carry your stuff home rather than take a carrier bag.

Best of all you may actually end up with more than 1p as cashiers can use their discretion about how many plastic carrier bags you have "saved".
